2006-07 (Sophomore): Wrestled at 133 and 141 but found his home at 149 late in the season...Picked up tournament third-place finishes in 133 and 141 weight classes...Recorded a 19-14 overall record...At 133, defeated Olivet[apos]s Blake Gardner with a 15-0 technical fall in the EMU Open, where he also posted a 11-3 major decision over Eastern Michigan[apos]s Chris Jenkins...Went 6-1 at the MSU Open to finish third in the 133 weight class...Compiled a 5-1 mark at the PSU Open in the 141 weight class for another third-place finish...Posted a 10-1 major decision victory against Buffalo[apos]s Evan Viney at the Penn State tournament...In his first appearance at 149 pounds, came away with a 7-0 shutout win over Pitt[apos]s Joe Ciampoli.
2005-06 (RS Freshman): Went 10-22 in his first year of competition for the Spartans, wrestling in 13 of 14 dual meets at 133 pounds...Finished tied for second on the team with two technical falls...Notched his first two wins of the season by fall at the EMU Open...Took eighth at the MSU Open...Won the team[apos]s Most Memorable Moment award for his 9-6 victory over Daniel Dennis, helping the team secure an upset victory over then-No. 7 Iowa on Feb. 5...Went 0-2 at the Big Ten Championships, falling to Illinois[apos] Gabe Flores and Ohio State[apos]s Reece Humphrey.
2004-05 (Redshirt): Redshirted...Went 10-1 in open competition at 125 pounds... Captured the Muskegon Open Championship with a 4-0 record, recording a fall, a major decision and a sudden victory...Went 6-1 at the MSU Open, taking third place, and redeeming his only loss of the tournament in the consolation finals against Chad Vandiver of Northern Illinois...Went 3-2 at the EMU Open, competing at 133 pounds.
PREP: Finished with a 131-12 record, going undefeated both his junior and senior years...Won the state championships both of those years...Helped lead his team to a 38-4 record during his career...Was both an All-American and all-state selection...Competed for the Florida National Team.
